I wish they hadn't shown a parent giving a child aspirin in this movie. Giving a child aspirin (there are proper alternatives to use) puts the child at risk for Reyes Syndrome, which can be fatal. If your child has a fever, give them acetaminophen. For pain or muscle aches, give Ibuprophen. If you're not sure what to do, call a doctor. Don't take the risk.
