Hilarious dark and thought provoking SPOILERS

satire is all about taking a situation to its extreme, and that's exactly what this film does. The horrifying consequences of the loss of verbal communication are laid bare for us all to see:

* cookery of the worst kind (and a strengthening of the link between food and breasts)
* turning up at a mans house, having sex with his wife, beating the guy up and taking ownership of his house is acceptable behaviour
* some electronic dance music is pretty awful but the kids seem to like it
* when making an approach to an attractive young lady, and grabbing at her person doesn't work, try a wordless sweet tune
* sitcoms can sometimes appear a little bit . . . errr . . . basic
* if you can't express your feelings through a witty putdown, then draw on your adversaries face and take a photo of your balls on his head
* female shoplifters are exposed to edifying speechmaking and embarrassing sexual power politics
* battles between groups of men will take place
* some men will inexplicably murder their families, even after being welcomed back into their house, fed, praised and supported

the question raised by the movie is which came first, the chicken or the egg, did the loss of language cause the primitive behaviour, or did the primitive behaviour cause the loss of language?
