Probably the BD also. There is a very interesting extra "the real Marne." And we see the filmmaker interacting with her mother, who as a meddler in the filmmaker's real life was the inspiration for this movie. So if you see it at home and enjoy it, be sure to also watch the extra. It seems they have a really good relationship.

I was surprised this was based on a true story because it felt very implausible and artificial to me. The real-life mother and daughter seem to have a much better relationship than what was portrayed in this film.
shareI didn't get the impression that the whole movie "was a true story" but instead inspired by their real lives. I'd guess that some of the situations in the movie sort of happened in real life but in the movie are exaggerated for either comic or dramatic effect. And some are probably completely made up but plausible.
