stolen car
How about no explanation for the stolen red sports car Marnie was driving? WTH? Just "poof" it's gone and no one mentions it or does anything about it?
Apple did get their share of the action, but so did Lexus...

I thought the same thing!!!! That car was her husband's and it was worth tons of $$$. I have a feeling there was a side story that they did not pursue? The Apple employees brother stole it?
shareThis was the same question I was left with at the end of the movie as well. I thought it was going to be resolved by it turning out that something happened to her car ASIDE from having been stolen by Fredo. Hopefully, there's some further explanation in the Director's Cut, otherwise I'd hate to have to just assume what happened to the car.
shareI was waiting for the reveal that it was Fredo who stole it. It seemed to me like it was being setup for that specific payoff.
shareI enjoyed the movie greatly. I saw it with mom so it was impossible not to. We weren't looking for high art, just an entertaining 90 minutes. Mission accomplished
shareWith all the race violence in the US right now, i think the director's decided to remove the idea that the car was stolen by Fredo 9who is balck so a typical stereotype) but because Marnie going home with Michael McKean's character was an important scene/part of the story, they kept it....It was important because I think that was the point she realised that she needed to get real (till that point she was only doing good things out of boredom)...Definitely a few deleted scenes
Life is a joke, but atleast its a good one.
I think she sold the car
shareIt was stolen. She drove it to the wedding and it was missing when she came out.
They definitely deleted some scenes though. It was obviously stolen by the brother of the Apple Store guy.
It was probably supposed to go:
Fredo says he needs to stay away from his brother because he's trouble. Marine tells him to give his brother another chance. The brother gets him involved in drugs and steals her car. She has a revelation about meddling in other people's lives. She realizes her mistake and changes her ways.
The plot was very clearly going in that direction. Not sure why they cut some scenes but they probably should've deleted the character of the brother altogether instead of leaving loose ends.
