LOL. I can picture the conversations going on outside American movie theatres:
"Hey, what shall we see? What about the new comedy with Bryan Cranston and James Franco?"
"No way"
"Yeah, good call. I bet it's just another generic Hollywood comedy. This year's "Daddy's Home", which was just last year's "Get Hard"."
"No, dude. The movie rocks, it's Cranstons politics that suck".
"Sheeez... füçk that then. No way I'm supporting a füçking liberal minded Hollywood leftist. I see Will Smith has a new film out...."
"We're there, dude"
If the only lesson studios take from any failings in "Why Him"s performance at the box office (which in reality, i.e. the area outside of your mind, will be down to its unoriginality) is to check the political leanings of actors prior to casting then it's a real shame. However, I have a feeling they'll be more than happy. It's already made back its budget, and before you know it another generic Hollywood comedy will be making its way to a theatre near you very soon.
