So disappointed!

I backed this project on Kickstarter and have been following the production for a couple of years. But now that I finally got to see it, MAN was I disappointed!

The acting was terrible, with several characters making awkward pauses every now and then when they apparently didn't know what to do, all of which the director actually left in the finished movie. The camerawork was amateurish, as was the lighting, making the thing look like a cheap youtube fanfilm. And the writing was just one dull cliche after another.

But worst of all: There were hardly any special effects at all! For a movie that's been hyped on supposedly being the pet project of an "A+ effects master", this was like getting spat in the face.

The whole thing reminded me of the other crowdfunded debacle called Harbinger Down, which was equally bad.
