Defective Product

If the Smiths had been a tad more cautious with their marketing practices, they wouldn't be losing lawsuits. Their religiously tenacious reliance on unsubstantiated safety claims set them up for unnecessary liability and endangered the status of an estimable law enforcement tool which is evidently abused far too often with their complicity.

I think they were blinded by greed.
