This show is like MITM

Does anybody else see this? I don't know why, but it bothers me

I read the shows description and then watched an episode, I totally see it. Middle child, smart, talks to camera. Lol

The storyline is very similar but I preferred SITM over MITM. The Diaz's seem like a normal family that you pull for Malcom's family just whine and complain about everything. The only thing I will say about MITM is that I would take Dewey over the young Diaz children. Dewy was the only one worth watching on MITM.

MITM was much more real...and had less loud music and sound effects.

MITM was definitely much more real. In the pilot alone Malcolm was calling other kids jackass, the mom was topless doing laundry, and Francis was put in military school for sneaking girls into the house and wrecking a car.

This show would never do things like that because it's confined to Disney channel. They won't even say the word 'hell.' But it's still a good family sitcom for Disney channel.

When I saw the preview, I didn't notice it, but once I watched a full episode, it became so much more apparent, especially with the story being interrupted for the main character to address the audience. Of course, being on the Disney Channel, it does have the trademark Disney Channel silliness, although surprisingly very little compared to their past shows.
