Looks fit for a history channel rather than AMC.

shareI watched the 1st epi last night and just finished epi 2 on AMC's website. Yes, It is very History Channelish...well, what The History Channel used to be, before all the BS "reality" show crap they air now.
...That being said, I thought it was very well done and I am looking forward to the remaining episodes.
The History Channel as it used to be doesn't exist anymore. I'll take historical type shows any way I can get them. I haven;' watched the 2nd ep yet but will certainly give it a shot.
Mr. Grady, you were the caretaker here.

The show needed a UFO Nazi ghosts vs. Bigfoot bargain hunters storyline to be on "History" channel.

The History Channel isn't what it used to be. The focus is ancient aliens, the occult, the supernatural, and things that aren't really history.
"Forget reality, give me a picture"-Remington Steele
This show is designed for entertainment and has nothing to do with authentic history. It's 90% a fictional mini-series loosely based on actual members of the mafia, and the term "documentary" should not be applied to it.
But then again, seeing as to what the History Channel has degenerated into these days, maybe it would be good fit for that channel.
People believe what they want to believe. One term for this is Faith. Another is Delusion.
That's been my impression, too. E.g., in one scene they show Luciano, Lansky, and Siegel as teens witnessing a murder and Siegel offers to remove the gold fillings. In reality, Luciano was years older than Lansky who was years older than Siegel: this scene couldn't have been close to the truth; just one example. I was hopeful about this series but have been sorely disappointed.
shareI'm surprised this isn't on history because it is made by the people who did The Men Who Build America.
share100% right It's modeled after and made by the dudes that made Men who built America. It should be on History. I love the show. So cool
Remember...There might be some momentary discomfort
I wish it lasted longer.i enjoyed it
