To be fair, maybe my expectations were too high. I had been looking forward to this one for a long time.

It was fun and campy and over the top. I loved the premise.

But while the kills were creative and the gore was all out, the psychos were more comical/bumbling than they were scary. I wish they made them actually freaky and scary.

They got the fun, campy, gore stuff right. And the premise. But they forgot the scary part of the horror genre.

I'd still say it's worth watching for the fun factor. 6.5/10

I think the pyschos were just fine. It's not meant to be a movie to take seriously. Plus they all had some cool gimmicks, so that was good enough for me when it comes to something like this.

They should give Dollface a spin-off movie.



I'm with OP, liked it, but by no means LOVED it! I think the concept was perfect, but lacked in the execution. Under a more capable director and maybe different pacing/edits it would've been MUCH better!
