shareRight! That was a BIG clue to me that something odd was up with them. At first when the one kid says he can't promise to go to prom with the little buck-toothed girl. my first thought was that he was terminally ill or something. and whe the dad was telling the kids "we have to, you know what I mean" that seemed a little off too.
I didn't expect it to turn into a Twilight Zone episode but it did! It was a cheesy movie that my GF made me watch with her but the zombie-holiday-family-ghost thing made it all worth watching ;)

While I thought it was an enjoyable movie, it was pretty evident from the time the Tucker's showed up, what the deal was given the title of the movie. Plus, all of the cryptic clues, including those you mentioned.
