predictable but fun.

I quite liked it. It's low budget, but a nice film.

Well, 2/3 of a nice film. The storyline with Liz and Dougie was ridiculous, you could tell the writers' hearts weren't in that one. (Elizabeth Gray did the best she could with the material, but there was no saving it, and Tommy Nelms certainly wasn't helping.) They should have cut that whole idiotic bicycle plot and just reshot a scene of Liz running in to announce that Dougie had fallen and hurt himself. That would have preserved the conversation about helping each other, which was the whole point of their story, without subjecting the audience to scene after scene featuring a halfwit man-child who's apparently made of spun glass.

The stories with Alex & Jackie and James & Spencer were well-written and acted, and came off as very realistic.
