The jokes in this so called "comedy" make me cringe. I mean Novak is funny but the script and plot is just awful

I couldn't agree less. The wit and humor in SunTrap is awesome. My wife and I laughed our heads off. It does perhaps take some intellectual sophistication to grasp all the humor, though. I suppose not everyone has the capacity.

Last night I was flipping through new television shows...garbage...utter garbage...more utter garbage...then SunTrap came on and I was pleasantly surprised! I stopped the show a few minutes in so I could watch it with my wife later. Today we watched two episodes, and we both absolutely loved it.

I can only surmise that you didn't like it because you didn't understand the humor, or that you may not have a sophisticated sense of humor. That's fine. It takes all kinds to keep the world running. If not for people with a crude and remedial sense of humor, most of the entertainment industry would be out of business.

firstly I do understand the jokes, they're just not funny. Secondly, the terrible rating this show has is good enough evidence to suggest that it won't make it past season one and you are of the minority opinion who think this show is comedy gold.

It is indeed awful. The basic situations are not unfunny but the whole thing becomes embarrassing and irritating due to Kayvan Novak's ridiculous 'disguises' and ghastly 'funny' voices, which make even Keith Lemon look tolerable. It is also worth noting that the BBC know the show is poor because it gets relegated to a late night slot, rather than prime time. Furthermore how can a person who calls themselves John Boy the Great expect anybody to take their opinions seriously? Good night John Boy.
