The writing is just bad. I don't see how most of the actors can even do it. The whole interaction of the older daughter and the parents, the parents with the son and the sisters with each other is so stilted and
painfully written it's unbearable to watch. The only one that survives it is Carrie Preston. The show is awful.

I think that Carrie Preston is one of the worse actors on the show, or perhaps it is the writing and/or directing that is making her seem that way to me. Her lines seem so forced. Patrick Warburton is the same in nearly every role he gets, but I have to say that he is my favorite "straight man" comic actor.
