New episode premiering betwixt the olympics coverage-

First off, I really enjoy this show. Like others before me have said it has an Office Space, Silicon Valley, The Office, and Parks and Rec feel to it in my opinion. I love the leads and many of the supporting characters feel like there's a breath of freshness CPR'd into them. I really enjoy the Amy/Jonah chemistry. I loved the whole Jim and Pam will they/when will they? And I'm picking up on that with Amy and Jonah. Despite what others have said I think America Ferrera is doing this role brilliantly. I fully believe she can carry the female lead of a show and for her character to be written so uptight and straight edged but still deliver comedic/quirky humor is great. She reminds me of a more self aware Dwight Schrute. She doesn't want to be so responsible and uptight, but she has a family and daughter.

I was so very delightfully surprised when I pulled up the DVR and there was a new episode. I was incredibly disappointed when the last 5 minutes or so were cut off due to NBC's poor planning on their olympics editing/coverage/transmission/whatever. I completely understand the historical importance of the olympics, but I wish NBC and other networks would pull their heads out of their respective asses and transmit the shows when they say they are. I have 2 roommates and we all have different tastes and then there are some shows we all love and watch together. We can record/watch 4 shows at a time and when networks decide to air their show from 7:00-8:04 then it cuts into our 8:00 options because the network couldn't cut a few minutes of commercials or edit their show better. I'm seeing it more and more and it's pissing me off. Not everyone can sit down and watch tv shows live. I love the DVR not just to fast forward and pause and rewind when we want but the convenience of watching what we want when we want is amazing!

Unfortunately when the episode airs On Demand NBC probably won't allow fast forwarding so I'll be re-watching 27 minutes of TV for the 3 minutes I didn't get to see. Yay, now that I've got that out of my system, I'm so super excited that Superstore got renewed and we get at least 13 more episodes before they pull the plug too soon. I'm scared that's what's in Superstores future. In my dreams we'll get to see Chyenne's little ones first days of Kindergarten at least but those are odds even a risky gambler wouldn't take, even thought this is the perfect kind of show for syndication.

The new episode is on hulu if you have it! It's pretty good but not as good as some of the others! And so far as the scheduling I've noticed that a lot of shoes run a minute or sometimes up to 30 minutes behind schedule and other shows don't record! It's frustrating so I've cut my cable cord and I have Netflix hulu vudu and soon I'll have Amazon prime!

Mine was cutoff as well. It cut off when everyone started running away in the parking lot but the on demand episode just ended (like a normal show and was not cut off) before they started moving backwards. We were double robbed!
