Jane's now an unsympathetic, cheating tramp....

Is this what the writers were going for? Or are there actual people who believe what she's doing is appropriate? Newsflash....when you're married, it's not OK to sleep around because you're mad at your spouse. Cheating is cheating. She's now the most disgusting character on the show.

I'll go one further....if you truly care about the person you're with, you won't want to cheat. You won't even want to be with someone else for some time after you split. Anyone who feels otherwise is a self centered, disloyal cretin.

This week's episode shows that she isn't.

How so? It's clear she had a relationship with the guy. She was still married during the 2 years on the run. Weller spent all his time and money looking for her, and she was sleeping with this guy. She's a degenerate. Even running to him for emotional support makes me dislike her now.

reply

I never understood why she ran away in the first place, but no, she is not a "degenerate". At the time she thought she'd never see Weller again, so it wasn't actually cheating on someone she was with. Your world is a little too black and white.

reply

This isn't a situation where the"black and white" argument works. And if you think it is, I feel sorry for anyone who might make a commitment to you.

If you feel it's ok to run to another man, or woman, when your significant other let's you down, that's your prerogative. But don't play it off as if you're open to all colors of the rainbow. It's simply a case of moral fiber and the strength of it....

reply

You sound so categorical and judgmental that you must be scary to be around in real life. Feel sorry for yourself, dude.

reply

I'd have used the word "skank", but tramp does the job too.
