unexpectedly committed

Watching this on the BBC where it's appearing as a series of two part episodes. This is the 3rd story and up to now it's been OK, I've missed earlier seasons and wandered in as the group is reformed with Kerstin Holm in charge so I guess it's taken a few episodes to get familiar with the cast. As I said, up to now it's been OK. The only character I've really liked is Gunner and everyone else was a bit boreing or even mildly irritating. But all of a sudden with this episode I find myself wanting to see what happens next and wondering what happened in earlier seasons.
