This film was dedicated at the end to Kelly's dog, Lucy. I was at an event with Kelly doing Q&A and someone asked her about Lucy and the dedication. Kelly got really choked up, as anyone who lost their beloved pet would. As if watching Wendy & Lucy wasn't heartbreaking enough, this will only make it more so for me...

shareAfter the screening I went to, Kelly Reichardt was there to speak about the film. I went up after she talked so I could get her autograph on a DVD I brought with me. It was my copy of "Wendy & Lucy", and Kelly really teared up as she signed it for me.
