"Clever Gent"

I guess Grimm thought she would name her company two things she ISN'T?!?

Check out the website...about as vacuous as its creator:

While I was slightly disappointed with the finale (how about an update from the last 4 months?!?), I loved the contrast between Brian, battered but moving forward as his garden is going into high gear, and Grimm...contemplating growing TOMATOES and launching a non-existent product with money she doesn't have.

Hate the stupid hipster name "Clever Gent".
Those hats they were wearing were super douche.

Did you read the "interview" Grimm did with herself?

She really is amazing. How about the part where she offers herself as an example of a high achiever in life who JUST HAPPENS TO SMOKE POT?

reply

i dont even think she smokes pot!. she is a total poser

Who cares if she doesnt smoke, as long as she comes out with a good product with brand recognition. I agree though that it is a terrible name. I also think she isnt catering to just the stereotypical pot smoker type. I think she wants to reach everyone and not having your your typical innuendo filled name can reach both markets. Your stoner isnt going to care as long as it is a good product, where as the middle age person trying it for the first time in years or ever might. I disagree with her that a brand hasnt been built yet. It just depends on who will rise in todays market. There are brands and distributors out there. Its just going to take weeding out the competition and surviving the government bureaucracy that will really determining a brand. Its also going to be a really long game as a lot of these pot shops do have their own grows mixed in with these whole sellers.

Seriously is the worst name ever. Should've called it Hipster Douche instead. She said herself that she doesn't know anything about mj and it's showing.

Yeah, the dope couldn't even come up with a brand name with a decent Internet domain. These days, it's smart to grab your .com and THEN name your brand.

She said she wants to be like Budweiser - but, well, Budweiser's website isn't BudweiserBeer.com - it's Budweiser.com.

Clever Gent just sounds stupid, like a "gentlemen's" club or something - and with Cannabis there are a million names you could have that would sound cool and have a good website - too bad RockyMountainHigh.com is taken - I don't know, I mean it's Colorado, SnowSmoke.com isn't taken (but I guess it may make people think of coke) GreenGater.com isn't taken, MountainMoxie.com, RockyRave.com - I mean these are crappy names but not as bad as Clever Gent.

What hump? 
