A good film but if felt like we just got 2/3 of the movie.
Nice twist but a bit predictable but until then I was loving the movie but....

When she was driving away in the van and saw the camera I thought...great, she will fight the girl and go back and try and save her BF....
But no....close credits...
Until then only one bad guy got killed, the main bad guy just wanders around...
Give this another 20 mins....a final confrontation and I would give it a solid

I assume Emma was going to die immediately after the reveal, and there was no way she could've gotten back in time to save her boyfriend (wasn't he about to get burnt alive?). The movie was paced well enough - no need to drag it out like some movies (looking at you, Wolf Creek).
shareSo how many horror movies have you seen? Anyone who has spent time in the dark country knows really good horror movies leave it up in the air. If after twee endings then check out the House of Mouse's back catalog.
I would have actually given it a final tweak, and still left "what happens next" up in the air.
No one seems to be picking up on the subtext of this movie?
