For being a billionaire of a corporation he sure has a lot of days off and down time. We rarely see him at work.

The movies seem to be from Ana's POV like the books so that might be the reason. She hasn't gone to see him at work (yet). It would've been nice though if the movies had been from a general POV, not just Ana's.

He was in the boardroom when the movie started...I missed the computer dialog between them..
