PLEASE get rid of the idiotic mothers!

I like this show, but Rosie's ridiculous fat overbearing nosy mom and Villa's histrionic over-the-top loud slut mother are generic and stereotypical. They drag each episode to a screeching halt every time they show up.

The show and the viewers deserve better. Get rid of them.

I suggest they both get murdered and Rosie and Villa have to find their killer. Then it turns out to be the captain, so he goes to jail and we get rid of that stereotypical guido cop too.

Then they can bring back Anthony Michael Hall.

I'm certainly with you concerning Villa's mom. Rosie's doesn't completely bother me, yet. She has her moments, but Villa's mom, UGH!!! I cringe every time she is on the screen!! Could she be more stereotypical, one-dimensional!??!

I've had to stop watching this, Rosewood's mother disgusts me she is so overbearing and if Villa's mother is worse (we have not seen her yet in the UK)then I am out.

I despise Villa's mom but I like Rosie's mom. As a mother of a micro preemie I have been Donna for years. When you have a child that is extremely premature,lots of health issues their whole lives you tend to be overbearing. My son is 21 now and I still watch him like a hawk. You can't just stop worrying because they are grown up,you just have to try to manage it so you don't look like a lunatic. So,for me Donna rings true. Villa's mom on the other hand is an embarrassing, promiscuous cliche. If she were my mother I would definitely distance myself as much as possible from her. She makes me want to choke her and tell her to grow the *beep* up and act like an adult.

Villa's mom is a slightly younger version of my old boss. And her grandson was like Villa in hating how she acted.

As for her acting like an adult, I think she is in the phase of not wanting to act like the adult anymore. She wants to have fun now.
