Why are so many shows putting their characters in inter-racial relationships?

Since when did three relationships become "so many"?

Why does that matter?

Because it's realistic?

BINGO! It's happening everyday. It is no longer an oddity; hasn't been for a while.

Sorry, but have you seen Christina Millian?

I don't care if you are white, black, brown or purple. If you don't want to hit that, you are dead...and not recently deceased either. You have to be dead a long time to be dead enough not to want to hit that.

lol! I'm a woman and I agree. She's smoking hot! My husband loves her and I'm not mad about it... 

Why not?

^ For real. Why not spread the love every now and then? I mean, there's nothing wrong with a little mixing. It shows unity, and frankly i'm glad to see some on a show featuring John Stamos. I had a feeling he was a ladies man all the way.

I actually thought Jimmy dating a black woman was refreshing for a change. Used to work with a white guy who preferred dating black women. It fascinated me to no end because it is almost always the other way around. I actually wouldn't mind seeing more of that.

Because fiction is constantly reflecting contemporary reality.
