Maybe a spoiler....

When he lived next to the art dealer I don't remember he was going with any woman. How did he pay for those paintings?

How did he have so many fakes but almost everyone thought they were real?

How did he get copies of paintings own by lady who died so quickly?

I came away thinking all his paintings were fakes. Even the ones he supposedly inherited. Not sure why they were not recognized as such but one of his artist "friends" mentioned they looked "different." Remember at that time he could not afford furniture.

He killed sixteen Czechoslovakians. Guy was an interior decorator.

I know they were fakes. I agree that is a given. But good fakes of well known paintings are still expensive. Especially for someone without a woman there to take care of him. Once he had a female to pay for things, I get it. But he didn't have that in that apartment next to the art dealer.

I wondered the same thing. A good enough fake to impression art dealers would still cost money. Did he steal them and the thefts haven't been attached to him yet?

I was wondering the same thing as well as wondering what jobs he worked at and where he got his $$. Even a crappy NYC apartment costs a fortune I'm sure. It was a good documentary, but I would've liked more details.

Guess you're going to have to read the book
