David Crockett episode

Dammit, Dammit, Dammit! I missed the episode. I have no way to find out when or if it will be repeated, as DIRECTV doesn't show the subtitles.

But I have a bone to pick anyway.

1. In a preview, O'Reilly said, "Don't call him Davy. He hated that."
In fact, he called himself Davy, and wrote a book about himself with that name.

2. The one audible line in the preview clip was misquoted.

3. If this episode is as scarce with facts as the Hickock and Holliday episodes, it wouldn't be worth watching anyway.

But I still want to see it. Can anyone help me with a future showing date?

One thing I've noticed, if it helps, is that each weekend they reshow one of the previous episodes so it should at least air again soon, though I don't know when it would be for sure.

I just looked ahead on the TV guide thing and couldn't find it, nor was it on demand. The Custer episode is scheduled for Sunday May 31st at 5:00 but the reruns for that weekend weren't detailed so who knows what may show that weekend, but there are three reruns scheduled to show that weekend.

I have it on my DirectTV box, wish I could send it via email! But that'll never work.

Thanks, Constitution.
I did manage to catch the episode. Someone had written to the O'Reilly Factor with that same question, and O'Reilly said on TV it would be repeated at such and such a time.

The main difficulty is that they seldom name the name of the man they're going to show, just Legends and Lies."

I'll be sure to record the Custer episode.

Hey Sandman,

They will be running a marathon of the episodes on Memorial Day. Looks like they begin at 5:00pm Pacific Time. Unfortunately no further details on the episodes being shown.

Thanks, CovertK.
I'd like to see the series feature some lesser-known names, like Ethan Allen, John Sevier, John Hanson, Caesar Rodney, Elias Boudinot.
Or maybe a whole different series on Indian leaders: Peta Nocona, Quanah Parker, Stand Waitie, Sequoyah, Crazy Horse, and so on.
