Movie Is Quite Bad

I found this on bluray in a discount bin for $2.50 and thought I'd take a chance.

Unless you hate yourself and/or have an infinite amount of time, you probably should give it a pass.

No spoiler as it says on the back of the case and it happens during the opening credits of the movie but the lead loses an eye, places a digital camera in a new eyeball and we're off to the races.

I thought maybe it'd be like They Live but nope.

His friend also has a digital camera and throughout the movie you see indicators on the screen that it's from a camera but, more times than not, it's not clear who is recording.

There was a scene in a cornfield where the little recording on screen gimmick was running, the guy with the camera had the camera down and you're getting a shot of the guy with the camera eye and you're left wondering, uhm, who else is recording?

The recording, whoever was doing it, added nothing to the story in any event and the end was lifted for some another story, I just can't quite remember where at this time.

In the trivia section of IMdb it says "During filming, production was almost stopped due to the poor performances of the actors" and while I assume this was a joke, it could just as easily be true.

I took this bullet so you didn't have to but if you think Sharknado 8 will be a good film, maybe this one's for you.
