Just finished watching it.

Burned through all 6 episodes on STAN (aussie streaming service) in one sitting. 4 1/2 hours worth. All up I'd give it a solid 8.5 out of 10.

Great show, could use around a 20 minute trim to be honest with a little extra fluff here and there that amounted to more or less exposition that went nowhere, but overall it's a solid as hell show.

It's nowhere near as gory as WOLF CREEK 2, it's gorier than WOLF CREEK 1. It gives you a bit more insight into Mick Taylor (moreso near the end than at the beginning) and gives you *plenty* of kills by him.

The tone is a mix of part 1 and 2, the kills more in line with part 1's kills rather than 2's over the top extreme kills. There's little to no comedy unlike part 2, it's played straight as hell.

Wolf Creek the series is more about the weird world of the Aussie outback, it's denizens, the strange people that inhabit it, than straight up just about Mick Taylor. People come and go from the series, dispatched in different ways, sometimes by different people than Mick, but they always leave a decent mark on the show. It's a damn good show, it's a bloody good addition to the Wolf Creek storyline and I'm personally hoping for a season 2. I don't really honestly *care* if we never get a "Wolf Creek 3", because this opened up the world in a way the movies never did, giving us a logical extension, resolution to part 1, continuation of the fate of someone we know... and someone you never really thought you were curious about until you see the show... you'll know who :)

I'm not going to give away what happens in the end. Would season 2 need to be a prequel series? Even if it does need to be (does it?) would that be a bad thing? Exploring the history of Mick Taylor? Hmmmm...

Enjoy.

8.5/10. Deserving of a 2nd season that's for sure.

Can you at least say if there is a Twist in the last episode? Like something happens that we completely don't expect? Maybe someone dies that we don't expect or someone lives that we don't expect to?

The last ep has some really neat Mick Taylor backstory in it that Eve reads in a book thats left for her in Wolf Creek itself. The biggest twist in it is the return of a survivor from a previous movie.

Someone definitely shows up we dont expect to btw in the final few moments a bit deus ex machina but it all works. I hope if they do a season 2 they dont follow the exact same template for 1. A search party hunting him or something would be cool.

I streamed the entire series too in one go, was going to spread it over couple of days but just couldn't! The opening scenes are fairly horrific for a Tv series, but in no way as horrid as the movies I found. It's much more of athriller than a gory horror. There are some good extra little stories to help keep interest and momentum, and Lucy is a great character who you instantly like and will to succeed.

Lots of murders still for all those who like a good murder ! And they aren't really dampened down for tv. it was interesting to fall into micks back story, although I don't think he would want snyone to feel sorry for him, I think he enjoys what he does and wouldn't want sympathy, but good to get that part opening up,

I would love a series 2 not sure how though they could go about that, overall a hot 9/10 for meeee loved it all. The cinematography and scenery was so fab, and they captured the beauty and savagery of the outback (and the people who inhabit it) very well.

He does appear fairly often he was one of my fave characters. I can't say too much as it will spoil it for you. Not only is Eve chasing Mick but Sullivan and other characters are chasing Eve, it becomes entwined well. One of my fave parts of this series is when Eve is with the aboriginal man, and their silhouettes in the orange sunset, it's not all murder and mayhem ?

Does mick interact with sullivan and the others chasing eve?

the person who you never thought would be in the series who is, was a revelation. I love that they added that bit. (Jesus)
