That ending was tripe

The movie was decent, although that finger scene was a little crazy, even coming from a guy that's seen it all when it comes to these kinds of movies, but that ending was just so unimaginative.

All of a sudden, she's got a guy locked up in the same basement? This makes no sense, but whatever.

What did you think of the scenes/ending?

reply

Think he was the rapist featured on the front page of 'La Alarma' nespaper Isabel was reading near the end, who had been on the run.

Just how she knew him and abducted him (especially since he was a senator's son) I guess we'll never know.

Think the idea is that, on her own now, she's turned into just a ruthless sadist as Jorge was.

Weak ending really...

Are you sure that was not Jorge? and she was getting more revenge. I don't think the face acid would kill him instantly. I was unsure.

reply

Jorge's face was eaten away to the point that he almost certainly would have died, especially without medical attention. Plus the guy she was torturing was clearly a different person anyway.

The ending killed it.

"A man chooses. A slave obeys."

I don't think that was Jorge at the end, the dude that was tied up had a bunch of tattoos on his arm. The movie Pet (2016) was very similar to this film, but Luna De Miel came out in 2015 so Pet would be the American remake, lol. One thing for sure Paulina Ahmed looked HOT in her workout gear. 7/10

Look at the night sky, where does it end?

reply

def not Jorge at end, would have been a nice irony if it was, but not only is Jorge dead with his face eaten away, but the guy at the end is the same one as on the front of the newspaper she was just reading. Would have been nice if the subtitles had included the newspaper headings at the end and also when Jorge was looking at the cuttings of this parent's deaths. Like many I don't know Spanish!
