Did anyone else feel bad for Tasha?

I get that she was basically the one who (if this were a zombie movie) gets infected and endangers everyone else by keeping it a secret, but I still had a soft spot for her. I was really hoping they'd find more medicine or that she would turn out to be asymptomatic or something.
