Anyone else wish the characters had actually died?

Usually I am more about giving shows more than their first episode a chance, but I just don't care. Seems about as good as Justin Bartha's last show, New Normal. Actually, it seems like a rip-off of "undatable", which was an already generic not so hot show in of itself. I dunno, the show just felt like it was inauthentically trying to target me directly, and I just don't care, not interested, and at the end of the day, all I can think of is "They moved Brooklyn 99 for this?!".

I didn't come in expecting this show to be bad, but by end end I was hoping Cooper would get killed by the kidnapper or that his brother ran off the road and killed them all in an accident just to bring us that much faster to the series finally. I dunno, maybe it will get better though... I just wish there was one unique thing about it... I mean, Mulaney at least had a black Kramer in the role of George to separate itself from Seinfeld..
