Why is Eric Roberts not credited in the episode's IMDb page?

As the alcoholic father of one of the doctors, his role seemed intriguing; why would he consider his son a disappointment?

I went to the episode page to see if there was any info and saw that he wasn't even credited. Weird...

Edit: Neither was Camryn Manheim. WTH?

Eric Roberts and Camryn Manheim were both listed in the credits at the beginning of the episode. I notice that very often actors who make guest appearances on shows are not listed on imdb.

I think Mario is gay, which to his angry, alcoholic "he-man" father, is a disappointment. The father can't get past this so even though his son is a doctor working in an ER, taking care of every conceivable problem and trying to save lives, he treats Mario like he's a failure. Eric Roberts was a good choice for the role. He's very good at playing a jerk.

Why did he have sex with the doctor from surgery that his new close friend wanted to be with? That happened, right?

Maybe he's just a disappointment because he used to be a disappointment so his drunk father was just going with that because he knows it strikes a nerve and it's all he can do to hurt his son who won't give him any more money to buy booze.

The episode pages are like Wikipedia...anyone can edit them.

Usually, only main cast are listed until after the episode airs, unless there has been publicity about a guest star appearance. The rest of the listings are filled in by IMDb users.

Code Black is still new enough that there is not someone from the production staff assigned to update IMDB. Frequently you will find lesser known actors being updated first by their managers; however, eventually the network or the production company finally uploads the full cast and company credits. It can take up to two weeks.

On long standing shows they actually have someone from the Network assigned to upload the data to IMDB. CBS just hasn't set that up for Code Black, as of yet.

While it is true that anyone who has an IMDB account can update episode listings, you will find that the user edits are deleted as soon as the network or production company uploads their information. They all have IMDB Pro accounts, which supersedes user edits.

Eric Roberts is workhorse of an actor, right now. Maybe there isn't enough space on his IMDb profile to fit it in. I find him to be one of the most underrated actors, working today. (Yes, I saw the credits at the beginning of the show.....)

It is now listed on his IMDB profile. You just have to scroll down quite a ways.

As noted on a post. Eric Roberts does do a lot of work. However other than POSING with those teeth and smile I see no ability. He is also classed as one of the TOXIC actors that put people off any given movie. For me if he is just making up the numbers then its maybe OKAY. But if a headliner that is an iffy watch.
