shareThey're thinning the head to make room for new doctors for next season. Dr. Dixon's probably going to bite it next. Probably Malia also. I doubt they'll get rid of Mario though, he's pretty popular.

shareI doubt they would kill off Dixon, mainly because of the Unfortunate Implications of having both Dixon and that earlier resident being killed off, since they were/are both African American. Similar reason why I doubt Malaya will be killed off, too many shows get flack for killing off lesbian characters.

Sure, she wasn't a main character, but a recurring cast member. Not necessarily a "guest star"
sharePresuming the show is that PC, they could off her, and next season add a new gay/lesbian/LGBT, etc. person. I don't particularily care for her character to be honest, regardless of her orientation.
Agree it's almost silly how unlucky the hospital is. I mean, I like the show, the episode with Dr. Guthrie and his Parkinson's was amazing writing. But this latest 2-part Patient Zero episode is just too unrealistic over the top.
