The writing was atrocious.
No one seemed to be fazed that a ouija planchette started moving on its own? And the dialogue was lame.

This felt like the longest movie I ever watched in my life. I kept having to pause it to go and do something, because I just couldn't take it anymore. The actors had no depth, couldn't care if any of them lived or died, the plot line was beyond weak! Besides Dad, no one seemed to have any real emotion and even his performance was stretching it.
