Niche Movie

I will say at 1st...I had not heard of this movie but stumbled upon it..and found myself really liking it..However, I would guess to be in the minority..as I see it, this movie would appeal to older Dads with grown chidren whom he loves but has made mistakes in his life..all of which I fall into that demographic...I saw the film as this Dad's plea for understanding and tolerance which I feel is lacking in times in this world...I don't see it appealing to younger viewers..and women as a group speaking in a generality..My guess is..without Robert Duvall's connections, it may not have seen the light of day..I did like Josh Harnett and James Franco's acting in difficult roles in which to shine..but with all due respect, I feel Robert's wife needs to find a different hobby or occupation along with Devon Abner...

Like basket weaving, or crafts, so we don't have to be subjected to her anymore.
