Will seriously start checking the message boards before renting movies. Who woulda thunk Robert Duvall would be in such a sucky movie....geez, what a wasted $1.61.

You haven't seen Second-Hand Lions. But at least he didn't write or direct that film.

Wild Horses must be pretty awful.

Not only was it awful, it was just disappointing with the cast involved. Not that I expected Oscar material but dang....

You can tell by the majority of reviews....it was really bad lol

Oh, God... I don't have time to go into the details of what a wretched film it is. It's aimed at the intellectual level of a dimwitted five-year-old. It was written by the man who penned Dennis the Menace Strikes Back!. What do you expect?

dont need to go to message boards, thats what "rating" is for. I don't watch anything under 6

You'll miss out on a lot of good movies -- sometimes great ones -- if you choose flicks based solely on their overall rating on IMDb or box office success. A movie that isn't very popular isn't always an indicator that it's bad; it could mean something interesting is going on that's too far out of the norm for mass consumption. "Watchmen" and (believe it or not) "The Wizard of Oz" are good examples ("Wizard" bombed when it debuted in 1939).
