If you're going to watch this tripe (which I do not recommend), do yourself a favor and stream it online, or wait until the video release. That way you can FF through the abundance of boring scenes. This film was a mess, and at 84 minutes, it felt like an eternity.

<<warning, SPOILERS AHEAD>>

I found it ridiculous that with all of the times this guy was blatantly out in the open, no one managed to catch even a glimpse of him. When the friends were over and dad went to grab the camera and creep was 3 feet away. When mom got out of the shower and he was literally 2 feet behind her. Just before that when you could see her face through the shower curtain. The daughter in her room when he stole the report card. I understand that each case is, on it's own plausible, but they are really asking us to suspend our disbelief if they want us to buy that 4 people never saw this guy. And what about when mom went into the attic, where creep was living. No sign of him? what about all of the pictures and video equipment. What a farce.

Additionally it was a huge gamble assuming that he could convince son that he was just a part of his dream. I'd say it's about a 95% chance that backfires every time.

And what about Miguel (the only guy whose name I can remember)? He doesn't have family? no investigation into his disappearance? No one cares that he just vanished? I mean, the guy most likely has a family. He was gone for long enough for mom and dad to wonder why they hadn't seen an invoice for the work he did. How did creep get rid of the body in the middle of the day without anyone seeing (maybe he just brought it up to the attic)? Fishy at best.

And the ending was a huge let down. he takes the time to go through all of the trouble of sabotaging mom and dad's marriage. He steals the lipstick and perfume, he tampers with the son. He plants the evidence. Then immediately after his plan starts to unfold, he just kills them. No drawn out downward spiral, or knock down, drag out fights. What's the point in all of the psychological warfare if you're not even going to let it actually do what it's intended to do. I mean, we are lead to believe that he hates their perfect life, likely because it reminds him of everything he doesn't have. It makes sense for him to try and destroy it. I mean, the premise is pretty played out and lame, even if executed well, but this was just lazy.

They actually do a good job of showing how conflicted creep is. The only reason he is there is because he wants to feel like a part of their family, but seeing how happy they are reminds him of how lonely he is. He kills boyfriend because he hurt daughter's feels. He was almost playing protector. Yet, he needs to destroy it (their happy lives).

There was a few genuinely creepy moments, and aside from the fact that he seemed to be invisible when he should have been seen many times, the actual storyline was almost entirely realistic, which heightened the creep factor. But, it was also a victim of it's own realism. It did the worst thing that a horror movie can do. It bored me. The acting was good and the dialogue was fine, but the movie dragged and the ending was pre-packaged. There was very little suspense. It's a stretch for me, but I'll budge and give this unimaginatively creepy film a 5/10.

That was my main gripe with this film. Your other points, while valid, didn't bother me. I was so horrified throughout the whole film then the ending just fell flat. I was like "okay?" haha!

Boredom is bullsh#t.
