So creepy. I actually liked it until that ending.

Anticlimactic for sure. He terrorized every member of that family, even the girl's boyfriend. Then he just decides to randomly kill the parents while the kids are gone? And that's it? Plus when they did die, it just happened in the dumbest way.

Even if, hypothetically, he wanted to get the kids later that day, he can't now. He must have known that. The cops were called as he have them plenty of time to call them. He'd have to just split, leaving all of his rape-y, stalker stuff in the crawl space. He'd have to leave without disposing of the bodies if he even does that. So he'd never get the kids. Maybe he only wanted to kill the parents all along? He messed with them the most.

It was such a build up of terror with a dull ending.

Boredom is bullsh#t.

I can't agree with 'dull', but 'anticlimatic' certainly.

I enjoyed the slow build-up as he messes with them for an hour or so, and then it's all over in what, 2 minutes?

Still liked it though. 7 for me.

I thought the entire thing was well done. I was so creeped out by what was happening beginning to end.
