Maybe a little too heavy on the "girl power"

It was mildly funny sometimes but it felt like it was going overboard a little bit and they wanted to emphasize how oppressed white american sorority girls are over trying to be funny. The original wasn't great but it never felt like they were making a big statement about "frats should hate women, let's ban them and only celebrate male friendships, we only need each other to be happy, our goal should be Men-only parties" but in this one the sorority girls are all generally good people who just want to bond and celebrate being women and all the college men are just scumbags who have to be put up with, taken advantage of and banned from all parties before the girls can be happy. The original actually let the frat guys be the butt of the jokes while the sorority girls felt like they were handled with kids gloves and never treated or portrayed very badly at any point.
