'Goat' was a film I expected to hate, however I wound up finding it very interesting and powerful. Much of this is due to the performances and pacing. The film displayed fraternity hazing in a very visceral way. I talk about it on Cinemaholic Productions this week along with reviews of 'La La Land', 'Fences', 'Passengers', and 'Assassins Creed'. It was much better than I expected it to be.

I do think it seemed like 2 completely separate movies, with the assault at the beginning and then the fraternity pledging. I think was due to the screenplay being based on a real life incident.
