What was the premise?

I mean it began as if it was making a parallel statement of rape. The cliche cop who is inconsiderate and ask if you did something to deserve it.

Then the brother trying to console him telling him it wasn't his fault.

I was damn, they should have just raped him.

But still it doesn't quite lead into the issue of getting into a Frat. I could see if he was fighting his demons to put up with the pledge trauma, but we only saw this one time during hell week.

I suppose it is okay if you are a Jonah fan, which case you only watched because he was in it.

Its based on a book that a guy wrote about his own experiences, so they were sticking to the events that happened.

More or less its about the main character coping with his issues and insecurities. At the start of the movie we can see that he has some confidence issues. His brother is younger than him, but is much more social and is much more confident around all of their mutual friends.

After the carjacking he becomes much more troubled and spends a lot of time doubting his self worth. He becomes interested in the fun lifestyle that his brother is living in his fraternity and decides to pledge. Before he started pledging he was spending all his time trying to get that one girl to like him, but once he became a pledge there were girls all over him.

Eventually the fun ended though, and the pledging became too much for him to handle. His issues returned even stronger than before.
