Running Wild

As a member of the film community and someone who works for the rights of animals, especially wild horses, I an concerned about the financing of this film. Forrest Lucas founded Protect The Harvest. Please go to their website for more information. They are working against the HSUS to protect the right of farmers and hunters to kill any animal they deem worthy.

Protect The Harvest is anti wild horse and pro horse slaughter. They would remove every wild horse, who actually have legal rights to ocuppy the land they inhabit, to turn more and more cattle on public lands. What is the agenda behind this film?

Did Ms. Stone research where the money came from for this project?

Best film about horses since War Horse (not that they can be compared in any way but nevertheless). I loved it. Gonna put it in my list of best movies. Happy ending, of course, and the "bad person" came around and saw the truth in the end. Maybe you have a point (have you seen the movie?) but I don't care who financed it and why. If this is based upon facts about the wild horses in America, it is important that people know about it, and draw their own conclusions. On the other hand, if it's "Fake News" (haha), why bother producing the movie at all?
