Major Ptothole, But I Loved the Movie.

It's rare to find Indian cinema making products for the thinking Man. This Movie had me thinking in all directions. How the Police System Exploits a Common man rather than protect him. The ending was a Masterpiece. I can go on and on and on with praise for this Movie, But all this thinking made me find a gaping plot hole in this Movie.

Spoiler Alert
=============
The Police could have easily tracked down the Mobile Shop from where the Male Lead did his Shopping. His Testimony would be enough to crack open the Case Open and the entire fortress of lies would be demolished in one go.

I would love to hear back from you guys.

I had absolutely the same thought as I was watching the movie. At some point in the movie it was mentioned that the mobile was second hand and not a new phone. It could be the reason that police could never find from where the phone was bought. But this was definitely a loophole I thought about as well.

Another one.... why they didn't hire a lawyer?

You're somewhat right sir but even if they would've tracked the shop, there is little chance that the shopkeeper would've told them that he had sold a second hand phone without any bill. Anay devgun's character never gets intimate with the shopkeeper like he did with the others.

Anyways it was a brilliant movie! I could hardly believe that it spanned 2 hours 45 minutes!!!

Well the investigation that the police are doing have ajay devgan as the main suspect, so its common sense the cops go to the mobile shop and show the guy that's there a picture of the suspect which is ajay devgan or any of the family members for that matter.

case closed.

Assuming the police recovered the second hand mobile, it would be very difficult to find out the seller as it was second hand and sold without a receipt.
