So many posts here yet close to none fanfic arounf the net for this show

Why are there pretty much no fanfictions around for this show?
This series had so much potential for a proper fandom, so many broken characters to play with, so many interesting mysteries worth exploring, not to mention the absurd potential for slash and femslash.

I know that this show's rating weren't great, but still, there are even worse shows around which instead have a solid fandom.

There is a total of 3 fics on the internet for the Family, 3! Two on Wattpad (and are pretty bad) and one on AO3, which is probably godsend for how good it is, being also the only decent around. So why do you think this happened? why there is no fandom for this show? Do you know of other cases like this (much potential but no following)?


p.s. this is certainly not an attempt to bring the matter to the attention of a community interested in the show in the hope to prompt someone to write a fanfiction. Believe me it's not that.
