Slightly Disappointing

We know the boys are going to get together all through the film, but we only get a few minutes of that, almost at the end. I think it would it would have been more appealing if the boys had discovered each other. Instead, Martin determines that Tomaz is gay and then starts teasing him about it, and then they fall into bed. Not enough time was spent on developing that dynamic, the film burnt up a lot of time on things that ultimately had nothing to do with the boy's sexual relationship, and the ending was open and uncertain.

Was Martin trying to wash himself clean of his indiscretion, or was he now claiming control of his fear of the beach? Most of all, and this is what many films like this rarely deal with: Were the boys able to talk about what happened?

The Storyline says it was a "work-in-progress", I believe that. Maybe, someday, they'll finish it.

However, these two guys were extremely beautiful, in that skinny European way, and despite the shaky camera work, because at least one of these pretty young guys was in nearly every shot, I gave this slightly disappointing film a "7".
