Predictions on Ch. 3?

Watched both movies recently. And i don't think Chapter 3 will be quite the blood bath some people are predicting. I'm hoping we get the curtain drawn on the High Table.

Charon (desk service at The Continental) holds Wick to a high regard. As does Winston. Who we know owns New York. When he stated it during conversation with D'Antonio towards the end of Ch 2... In ch 1 Viggo Tarasov explains to his son who Wick is. And how Wick established their foundation. Which extends ground in Ch 2 when we see Viggo has a brother with equal power. It wasn't building a foundation for Viggo alone.

Wick had a higher rung in the ladder than what's been revealed. He also knew Gianna 'without her knowing the blood oath' between Wick and her brother. That sets up other previous occasions. D'Antonio even stated in the museum if Wick killed him at that moment the Russians and Chinese seats would come after him. Not over their blood oath either. That pact being secret allowed for the assasination of his sister.
It also means the High Table would not act over Gianna's death, but would over Santino's.
So what exactly did Wick do during the "impossible tasks."? How big of a foundation did he set? And for whom? Why did the High Table only take action after a "seat" at the table was removed?...
John is a threat to the entire establishment. So ch 3 becomes a matter of politics. Impossible tasks will be brought to light. And ultimately the 'good vs evil' undertones has to get answered. I don't think gun shots and bad ass cars alone will resolve the plot. any other take on the movie?

Winston does not own New York he owns the Continental in New York. You have The Bowery King and Tarasov’s brother owning parts of NY and who knows who else.

My question is, why did Winston hand John the marker? What will this artifact do for him when the entire world wants him dead?

There will be a dog.

I agree that a simple bloodbath of Wick taking down assassins to stay alive wouldn't be enough to carry Chapter 3, as we've already seen this setup in Chapter 2.

Instead, I was thinking that the Gomorrah remind me a lot of the Assassins in the Assassin's Creed video games and that what's missing, now that the scope of this criminal underworld of the John Wick films is expanding, is a powerful, rival faction to counter the Gomorrah. Hey, perfect name for them: "Sodom".

I imagine they would be something like the Templar Order or an Illuminati type faction which is more political/governmental as opposed to criminal, which sees Gomorrah as a threat to the political control of the world that they seek. So, at first, Wick kills off impossible numbers of assassins until the Gomorrah realize they will need these resources against Sodom. So they offer to pull the contract on Wick and reinstate if he agrees to help them in their coming war.

It doesn't need to be a bloodbath. But I do hope we get an action packed movie and that they don't expand too much on the lore. After all, this time, literally the whole world will be after him. So how could you possibly dampen the action at this point, when the scope is so much bigger than in the previous movies?

They are probably just going to make his journey shorter while delving more into the lore.
