Always thought trained SWAT teams were better

Can anyone tell me why the SWAT team stayed in the back WHILE the shooting of the hostages was going on? Made NO sense. Also, after all the time they had to prepare NO ONE bothered to find out the layout of the store? He seemed clueless making his way to the front.

I really think all of the swat and people in charge should have been fired and even charged. It's crazy how some were promoted. I hope the swat and the people in charge of the whole take over somehow reads these post. I think some of the deaths are the fault of the hostage negotiater. Sorry. But it's the truth. Who trained this jack ass
