Could it be any slower?

OMG this show is slow. The telling of the stories insane. There is way too much empty space. I think they're trying to do it for dramatic effect but it's not working.

So agree with you. I will not be watching any more episodes.

I think tonight's episode, Buried Alive, was twice as long as it needed to be. I have not seen previous episodes.

I think one thing that saved it is that it was narrated by the actual people. I would have been much more likely to have given up if it was narrated by a reporter type of person, especially Keith Morrison.

(Oh, but Keith Morrison is NBC so at least I am safe from him on this show.)

If I have to see that guy's face go under the corn one more time, I'm going to lose it. And the close-ups of the guy while he's buried? I mean, I get that there's only so much you can do with your facial expressions, but come on. Just tell the rest of the story already!

Obviously the guy lived because he was being interviewed, so what's taking so long? I saw everything I needed to know when they showed the montage after the commercial.

I agree. Normally, I enjoy watching these type of programs - I'm an Investigation Discovery addict. However, two hours to tell these stories is way too long. There's not enough going on or details that require a two-hour long format. After trying to watch one episode, I couldn't finish and immediately removed the series from my recording list.

I agree with the OP.

This. Program. Is. About. 90. Minutes. Too. Long.

Never again.

Agree. I watched 2 episodes but ended up deleting the third one I taped. I love these type of shows and occasionally think 1 hour was not enough time to fit everything in but apparently that's not a problem here. When you're basically repeating yourself and the reenactments, then you don't need 2 hours to tell your story. Cut it down to an hour and I'll start watching again.
