Okay, I can admit I was thrown for a loop to learn this was going to have an all-black cast. But, like the new Ghostbusters, seems the trend is to change everything up... so whatever, I adore the movie, and I'll give it a shot.

OMG. This is a complete travesty. Unfunny. Horrible comedic timing and editing. Bad casting (THAT's who they entrusted with Candy's beloved character?). Takes countless brilliant, touching, hilarious moments from the movie and throws them up on the screen as fast as possible, while demonstrating zero love or care for the original material.

Like, he just somehow finds a chainsaw to cut the door down. What in the show has told us that such an extreme and bizarre reaction might be something he'd do? How is it, in fact, something endearing about his character and love for family? Where did he even get the chainsaw from? What about the people in the room he was cutting the door down to? How is the scene funny or even vaguely entertaining when we know none of that?

It's like I'm watching a Saturday Night Live skit based on Uncle Buck... not something actually named after it and, apparently, allowed to duplicate all the material from the original movie script.

I hate sitcoms with laugh tracks, but I think this one needed it. At least then, there would be the illusion that someone, somewhere, actually found it entertaining.

I have no desire to watch it. Especially after reading what you wrote. It's pretty bad when they change the premise of the original, however to make the entire cast black, then that just goes to show you that WE are not the ones who are PREJUDICE! SCUMBAGS!

I couldn't care less if the cast were all white, black, mexican or Asian. The show was simply, NOT FUNNY. I found Epps annoying and the kids equally annoying but Nia was looking scrumptious as always so I will watch the next 3 or 4 before it's cancelled.

I saw the pilot and it wasnt bad but could be improved upon.

Get over the changing race of fictional characters!!! It's a bad show from what I saw but it has nothing to do with race. Again, get over it.

I'm not turned off by the characters being black like some people here are but the commercial where the little girl is like a prostitute taught me to twerk and then proceeds to do it, was a enough for me not to watch. Call me a priss but that's not cute or funny, IMO.

You nailed it!! My dislike of this show would be the same if the actors were all any other race including white...unfunny is unfunny I don't care what race you are

Well when he said, "I'll be right back," the natural assumption for me was that he went down to the garage where you would probably find the tools in 90% of the homes across America. That's just me but then again I have a functioning brain and a proclivity to use it.

You liked the new ghostbusters??? think most can stop reading there then seeing as you are judging comedy but enjoy some of the worst nonsense this year that ruined a franchise.
