Lady Gaga to the rescue?

From what i have read here and afew other places it looks like they are shopping it to FX with the idea of Gaga added to the cast. Doesn't say if it's to replace Brian as the lead or as supporting.

I'm actually more curious why Bradley Cooper is desperate for the show to get a second season.
