wish i had a brother like jimmy

he's so supportive and sweet towards kenny. it's refreshing to see siblings on tv who get along extremely well with each other and are actually kind to each other.

I agree,

It's cool that they are caring and supporting of each other. Noah Galvin is openly gay in real life. The producers wanted a gay actor to simulate the emotional issues and conflicts that such a person would face in "coming out." Noah does a fine job of showing care and support. Matt Shively seems very likeable and supportive. On Matt's Twitter account, he is hoping that the show can be used to help people with gay issues.

noah is a good actor and really transmits the feelings and delivery of each dialogue line.
actually all of them are good. it's a good cast, and i got a soft spot for the dad.

I agree. I actually sort of love the family dynamic on this show. Yes, there are common sitcom tropes a plenty: the dopey dad, the dumb older brother, and genius little sister, etc., but the actors do a good job of transcending these tropes. They've also developed a very believable on screen chemistry with one another, particularly the actors who portray Kenny and Jimmy. Gosh, I hope this show gets renewed for a second season. I'm really enjoying it!

In one interview I saw, Noah said that he and Matt have the same relationship off-screen that their characters do on the show.

yes - agreed, all the young 'gaylings' should have someone in their family as wonderful as jimmy as their 'cheerleader' ... good point 'keser-one' :)
